Imagine You ("we", "us", "the app") explains here what we collect, why, and your choices. We designed Imagine You to collect as little as possible.
What the app does
Imagine You turns a selfie you provide into realistic images of your future self using a server-side AI image-generation service.
Information we process
- Your selfie / uploaded photo. When you generate images, the photo you select is sent over an encrypted connection to our generation backend and the AI image provider solely to produce your requested images. We do not use your selfie to train models, and we do not sell it.
- Generated images. Returned to your device. If you choose to save them, they are stored in your device's photo library — under your control.
- Purchases. In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple via StoreKit. We receive a confirmation that a purchase succeeded so we can add credits; we never receive or store your payment card details.
Information we do NOT collect
- We do not require an account, name, or email to use the app.
- We do not collect your location, contacts, health data, or advertising identifiers.
- We do not track you across other apps or websites. No third-party advertising or tracking SDKs are used, so no App Tracking Transparency prompt is shown.
Photo library access
The app asks for photo access only so you can pick a selfie, and for permission to save generated images back to your library. You can change these permissions anytime in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Photos.
Data retention
Selfies are processed to fulfill your generation request and are not retained for advertising or profiling. Credit balances are stored locally on your device.
Children's privacy
Imagine You is rated 4+ but is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Third parties
- Apple — in-app purchases and subscriptions (see Apple's privacy policy).
- AI image-generation provider (Google Gemini) — receives the selfie transiently to generate images, subject to its API terms.
Your choices
- Don't want a photo processed? Simply don't generate with it.
- Delete generated images from your device's Photos app at any time.
Changes
We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date will change accordingly.
